Displaying text from a MySQL table which can be modified
Hi am creating a website for my third year at uni, am trying to create a website where the client can update the content of the site themselves, i will have a news page and i want the content to be draw from my database and displayed on the front end of the site i also want to have an admin side where the client can see whats in my mysql table an update it but i have no idea where to start any help would be great

Homework / Course Work / School Project? If so, please post again here.

Otherwise: design the functionality the different pages should have, and how they should interact. Based on that design the layout of your database (don't forget to normalize it). When you've got that down, pick one of Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP, C, ... as your language and start implementing.

cheer its my first time using these forums thanks for the advice am going to be using php to display the data, i wish i could use wordpress it would be much more straight forward but i have to make it from scratch using mysql & php
