UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

hi all,

i have a file containing the following information :

UNIX system provides an elegant and efficient environment.
the strongest features of the Unix system is its wide collection of programs.Modern uNiX and Microsoft Windows systems support long filenames. however, some older UNIX999 and Windows systems only allow much shorter filename.

i want to find all the lines having "UNIX" string only. i don't want lines containing "Unix", "uNiX","UNIX999"..

Code:

egrep "(^|[ \t])UNIX([ \t]|$)" filename

This should limit it to where it finds UNIX broken from the text either by whitespace or new lines.
