Hello everyone,
I'm extremely new when it comes to SUN servers so bear with me and hopefully I can describe the issue I have accurately.
At work we just received a refurbished SUN Netra 240 server. I was told to change some of the EEprom settings, and to do that I was to use a hyperterminal connection from a laptop. This is the first time the server has been powered on. I'm connected at the serial mgmt port. My hyperterminal connection settings are
COM 1
Bits Per Second 9600
Data Bits 8
Parity None
Stop Bits 1
Flow Control None
I can see the POST test and boot sequence. Here is what the terminal window reflects after I power on the server and connect.

When I reach the second probing I/O buses, the system seems to hang. There is no "ok" or "sc" prompt for me to type any commands. I have left the connection on for 2 hours and 15 minutes with no further results. Is there a setting I have wrong or is there a command or keystroke I'm missing? Any input would be greatly appreciated and resulting in a Christmas Greeting Card come holiday season time. Thanks for taking the time to read this

Actually I have a new issue. I was able to get the prompt to show up but now when I enter command eeprom it tells me it's an invalid command. Any suggestions?
