To learn PERL

Hi,

Would like to learn PERL, can anyone let me know what are the useful sources... any links... good books for the beginners to start and practice?

I would also add to start with your local library. It's completely free to borrow books (not even the cost of an internet connection), accessable when an internet connection is down or unavailable, and in this age of an abundance of information on the internet, the willingness of a publisher to commit to the expense of printing a textbook serves as some degree of quality control.
