rsync Error
hi
I am running a rsync from one of our remote sites to the main building.
i am using this command to run betwwen 2 linux servers
Code:
rsync -aWv -e ssh --stats progress --delete --ignore-errors /raid1/PRODUCTION/WORK_IN_PROGRESS_PEARTREE/ 5.0.2.245:/prod2/RSYNCS/CREATIVE2/ >> /raid1/Rsync_Logs/Peartree_rsync.`date +%w`.log 2>&1

It completes but i am getting these errors
Code:
rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1040) [sender=3.0.4]

rsync error: some files could not be transferred (code 23) at main.c(702)

Seems that some files fail to transfer any ideas please

Hello,

If you are running rsync as a non-root user then there is the possibility with not having the read permissions to import some files to the remote server. Try running rsync as root and see if it works.
