SSH session

I ran a job using SSH and then used screen command followed by space bar. Then I ran the job. But after some hours, the internet connection was lost. This had happened to me before. I used to run the whole job again. Today I came across the fact that I could restart the jobs without having to do it from the beginning. I used screen -r, but it had the list of all the jobs I had from before. How do I know which id belongs to which job? I did not give any name to the different screen sessions. The screen list gives the names which I have no idea to figure out which one belongs to which job. Is there a way I can find out which id belongs to which job so that I can resume the job.

Also to make sure, does the job get killed if I shut down the system? Is there a way to bypass this using screen or some command?

you might be looking at "nohup"

I'm fairly sure the job would remain running in the screen session (at least in my experience it does).

If screen -ls shows several sessions I think the best idea would be to connect to each one to look and preferably exit out of any unused sessions to shorten the list.
