Please recommend a good Unix or Linux book
I looking to broaden my knowledge in Unix/Linux. I have taken some basic classes in the past and tinkered a little with operating system at home..
What i am looking for is if someone could suggest a good book or class or both to help out. Looking at getting a Unix or Linux Certification. I work at night for a NOC, working on Unix and Windows Servers. My 2nd Level Unix support people didn't want to respond to my email, so I figured the forum was my best option.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

What are the UNIX servers? It depends on what you are interested in: UNIX the OS (shell and development) or UNIX administration (in which case knowing on what OS youre running has an influence on expected replies)

Please recommend a good Unix or Linux book
we run mainly Sun and AIX boxes.. I am looking more into a role of admin support...

There's a quite good red book from IBM:
AIX Reference for Sun Solaris Administrators
IBM Redbooks | AIX Reference for Sun Solaris Administrators
You can download the PDF...
It will show you most of administration tasks on both OS explaining mostly (since as its titile says...) the similarities and differences between SOLARIS and AIX but more in depth in AIX (as you already know SOLARIS...)

VBE, Could you Suggest a Certification to go for??? My Manager wants me to try to get a Unix Cert or Linux Cert this year...

Any unix administration certification requires a server to do your training on...
I think its more your manager to tell you what he wants (or needs) and so can guarantee he will let you have what is needed...Since you are starting from scratch maybe IBM AIX is the easiest
