Glance and CPU and Memory utilization
Hi guys,

I am new to Unix and have been asked to Check the CPU and Memory utilization using the Glance command.

I have tried searching and Google but cant find anything that makes sense to me Smilie

Does anyine have any links to somewhere that will explain exactly what it is - tried "man glance" but that doesnt work from the command line Smilie

Any help greatfully accepted.

I believe that "glance" is only available for HP-UX and that you need install the package and pay for a licence beyond the trial period.

To check whether you have "glance" installed on HP-UX run this as root:

Code:
swlist|grep -i "glance"

If you are in a hurry, you can get a crude view with unix "vmstat" sampled over a reasonable time period.
