Question Kernel Support
Hi,

I want to learn that all the family of x86 processors are supported by kernel.

I want to buy a board, which has VIA ESP10K processor and

CHIPSET: VIA CN333 north bridge & VIA VT8237R south bridge

Where can I find this?

google. Such small embedded boards often advertise their linux support.

I actually have something similar, I think. It's probably just compiled as a generic i686.

I am looking at google but not found yet.

Unless I am mistaken, you already have found such a motherboard VIA EPIA VT-6045G Mini-ITX Motherboard

Yes, you are right.

I found it. It has been phased out and at local store it does not write that it has Linux support or not. If so, which kernel is it? I am trying to learn this.

Probably lots and lots of linux kernels. "Which architecture" would be a better question. I think the kernel for ours is compiled as i386.

max number of slabs per kernel module (kernel 2.6.17, suse)
