Are Solaris's commands the same with *BSD's commands ?

To a system administrator, there are differences. To most users the differences are minor but apparent. And I wouldn't use the regular expression *BSD quite so freely. Our local FreeBSD expert strongly dislikes OpenBSD but begrudgingly admits that it is more secure. He says NetBSD is pathetic.

I am mainly a HP-UX/Solaris guy. I find that I am much more "at home" on any Linux, than on any BSD.
