MySQL Unix shell script Certification for oracle developer.
hi friends,
I would like to do the certification in Korn shell scripts { i am using HP UNIX machine }. is there any certification for UNIX shell script . If yes please tell me the details . i am junior level oracle plsql developer . i interseted in unix shell scripting . i need to prove myself to improve my career . . please advise .

I don't know about any korn scripting certifications but this could be a good start for your career in Unix/Linux: Linux/Unix System Administration Certificate -- O'Reilly School of Technology

This is not to say that you can't be good without certifications. Some of the best OS engineers that I have worked with haven't got any, and they were pretty darn good. As a means of establishing yourself in a Linux/Unix career, why not build an armory of scripts that can be used for system monitoring, and stuff like that. Am sure that some of thee gurus on this site can tell you what other kind of scripts can help you shine in your career/interviews.
