Question Issue with sendmail

Hi Team,

I have a script written to sendmail along with attachment in html format.
The code is
Code:
export MAILFROM="abc@abc.com"
export MAILTO="abc@abc.com"
export CONTENT="./GRP_SPI_ERR.html"
export SUBJECT="TEST EMAIL: TESTING HTML"
{
print -  "From: $MAILFROM"
print -  "To: ${MAILTO}"
print -  'Subject:' $SUBJECT
print -  'MIME-Version: 1.0'
print -  'Content-Type: MULTIPART/MIXED; '
print -  'Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1'
print -
cat /tmp/emailbody.html
print -
print -
print -  "--${BOUNDARY}"
print -  'Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII; name='${CONTENT}
print -  'Content-Disposition: attachment;   filename='${CONTENT}
print -
cat ${CONTENT}
print -
} | /usr/sbin/sendmail -t

the issue is that both the body of the mail and attachment gets printed in the email's body.

Request you suggestions in this regard.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm no expert on this matter but from what I do know you have to encode the attachment. Look into uuencode.

And if you want to read a unix text file attachment with a Windows program (e.g. notepad), convert the file from unix to DOS format first and give the attachment a suitable file extension (.txt), then running "uuencode".

The uunecode did not work out fine. The encoded text is coming as part of the mailer.

The code posted is to send mail with both body and attachment in html format..

Please provide your inputs on the same.

Thanks in advance!!
