I connected my windows 2k professional to sco openserver. i want to know how i should setup sco , so when i login from windows it will log me into my home dir on sco

If your asking what you have to do when you telnet from W2K to the SCO system, nothing (as long as telnet is allowed). You would put in your username and password at the prompts and there you go.

To turn on telnet (if it's not enabled) look at the following files:

/etc/services
/etc/inetd.conf

Make sure telnet is not commented out in either. Test that telnet works by signing onto the SCO box and telnet to the SCO box.
