I though/hoped so, but I'm too new to Linux (~2 months) to have any particularly good solutions up my sleeves. It's actually quite frustrating, since with ~20 years of DOS/Windows experience I can fix similar problems on That Other System much more easily.

I've already tried a reboot, it's my brute force solution of choice.
I haven't actually cleared the route table (or the apr table, whatever that is) because I didn't know if that would fix or worsen the problem.
