Information on Network engineer and Unix Systems Engineer

Hi,
I'm exploring a few different careers( Unix System's Admin, Network Engineer, and Unix System's Engineer). I asked in another thread about System's Admin, so I have some more info on that already. I'm not finding very much info on Network Engineers or Unix System Engineers though. Can you guys maybe give me a little info about either(or both) of them? ie. working hours, yearly salary(entry salary, salary after 5yrs, salary after 10 yrs...), benefits, maybe some links to somewhere I could read up on info. Also, I'm just wondering... is a Unix Systems Engineer just a software engineer that works specifically with Unix? or are they different careers? Just wondering because I can't seem to find any info what so ever on Unix System's Engineers... so that's why I was wondering if they are just Software Engineers that specialize in Unix.
For anyone in either of the jobs... how do you like it? What are some things you like about it? Things you dislike?
Sorry for all the questionsSmilie
Any info you guys can give would be greatly appreciated!Smilie
Thanks
