procmail, backup, ftp

Hello,

On a remote server with Centos 5.0, I am running procmail
At /var/mail/vhosts/, I can find all the accounts and I was thinking of saving those files on my local machine using ftp.
The structure is right and the files containing the emails (most of them stored in the cur folders) appear to be properly downloaded (I am using filezilla on windows) but they are actually empty.
Any idea why it happens and what I should do?

Thank you

I solved the issue by installing Ubuntu on the windows machine (using virtualbox) and I can now read the email. I am still unclear as to why I could not read those files on a windows machine but, this is probably not the right forum to investigate that fascinating windows-related issue.
