I have Solaris 10, latest release.
We have passwd aging set in /etc/defalut/passwd.
I have an account that passwd should never expire. Acheived by emptying associated users shadow file entries for passwd aging.

And I know these are for preventing login. But what are the differences among '*', '!' and '!!' ?

HI i need to delete an entry in /etc/security/passwd.
can't find a way to do it with userpw.h api ( AIX ).
the passwd file i delete like this.
Write all entrys to passwd file except the one we are removing.

But dosen't get it to work. Something is wrong! in this code.
What i try do do is if user kalle exist in shadow.
