printing configuration, line width

Hello,
I have to configure printing format under aix 5.3,
but don t manage to change size of lines.
Thanks if you can help me :

--- Printer description :
I have a printer "pcltest" using HPJetDirect : hplj-4+ (PCL)
I have a queue "qtest" defined on printer hp@pcltest
--- Queue configuration :
papersize is A4.
Default VERTICAL SPACING (lines per inch) 6
--- Print Job configuration :
TYPESTYLE and PITCH courier 10
Print file TYPE c
CODE PAGE of print file [ISO8859-1]
LINES per page [64]
--- driver :
I did install a driver : "/home/root/printers/lexmark-T644-print-drivers-aix5-sysv.pkg" but don t know how to use it.

--- Question :
My probleme is that each line width is about 0,01 centimeter to little.
Therefore, each line is more and more missplaced, and the last line is about 0,5 centimeter up from where it should be printed on the page.

If my question isn t detailed enough, I can send other informations.
Thank You

It seems that only following parameter can make "line size" varying :
Default VERTICAL SPACING (lines per inch) 6

And values can be only 6 or 8. I would need 7.

How to change Vertical Spacing to 7 ?

RESOLVED :

Solution was smit printer -> Print Spooling -> Programming Tools
_v # display Vertical Spacing Value
_v=7 # set _v to 7 : as it'snot a andard parameter, it should be temporarly setted to 8 each time another paramater of the printer has to be changed, before setting it to 7 again.
