Hi..
I was woundring something...
I have a computer which has an Nvidia GeForce 2 MX card and i'm thinking of to download Solaris 9 but i don't know if this card supports of the operating system...can someone help me please...is there anything else i can do...Thanks

Lot of problems have been reported for the said combination. ( solaris and video card ).

You need the right patch and drivers to have it working.

Can try calling sun call center for support.

i downloaed sun 9 they are very good at giving you time to download it and if you get locked out just email the esupport team and they will renable your download and in sun 9 there are no games just busnes apps and server app it's not linux by far or bsd very good at server and java and video and music but not games if you want games go mandrake or suse they have very cool games and media sun is good if you like busnes

i got sun 9 loaded on my system and works good
there gui is cde not kde or ice or gnome or any thing like it sun cde is very cool the geforce card works good you must know your hardware and screen what res is can handel and mouse

mine was a geforce2 mx 200 and my screen is a kds res 1600x1200 15"
works for me

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't KDE do a port for Solaris a little while back?
