How to run UNIX commands for practice in Windows 2000 OS?
If you suggest to install Cygwin, please let me know the procedure to install, or else I feel happy if you suggest any stand alone app for running UNIX commands..Smilie

No need to install unix on your system.Get a live CD.Run it directly from CD

Cygwin:
  1. Get the installer from here (the link labeled "Install or update now!")
  2. Follow the instructions from the users guide (they are quite extensive and complete)
  3. Have fun!
