Sun 6048 Blade Rack Power Reqs.
Greetings Forumers-

My apologies in advance if this post is incorrectly placed as I did not see a sub-forum to post hardware questions. Smilie

Here's my situation:

I have received a Sun Blade 6048 Rack and need to configure the power for the rack. In reading the Site Planning Guide for Sun Blade 6000 and Sun Blade 6048 Modular System it mentions (p22) a "modular power system" which attaches to the rack.

Here's my question:

Is any one using the MPS for the rack?

Yes, I have MPS equipped racks.

The racks are simply Sun Rack 1000-38 or 1000-42 there is nothing specific to the 6000 blades in this but yes I have got that configuration.

I don't wish to seem abrupt but if you have a specific question please ask the question rather than related questions. I assume you are asking because you have a fully taken delivery of a pre-racked system?
