Computer bad autentication

hello friends I'm here again

i resolved the problem with the pop3 port
i did open the port
but i have a new problem
i can send email (my workstation) for (my sun server) that have sendmail.
but when i go use pop3 in my workstation i have the following message "bad autentication"

what the file i have problems?
i don't have problem with comunication, my port 110 is openned
where can i adduser for my sendmail?

ps- My files have the following configuration

* local-host-names (mycompani.com, pop3.mycompany.com, smtp.mycompany.com)
* relay (5.0.0.2) it's my ipaddres
* sendmail.cf is original

I have problems with my users

Sendmail and pop use standard UNIX IDs. For each user you just need a valid UNIX ID with password.
