$ Prompt on Serial console is not responding.

Hi Experts.
i have been stuck up with an issue.

i have connected my Solaris 8 , Sun fire V445 on serial port by using Teraterm.
Initially i was able to login and executed some tasks.
After executing some commands (mainly Control +c), i am not able to type any key or not able to do anything at $ prompt.
I stuck up at $ prompt, i can see the screen but not able to do anything.
i have been tried with Cntrl+w,Cntrl+d, Cntrl+e.
and i went to OK prompt and exected "console" came out of OK prompt.
Then also no response.

please advise me how to get back to the logged in user.
What step i need to follow.

Your support is apprecieated
