sendmail to recive

I have set up a linux box with apache and sendmail. However i cannot get it to receieve incoming mail.
It is setup as a pop server (as far as i am aware).
However nothing comes in. I can send mail without a prob.
What am i over looking
please help

can u send outbound mail

an mx recoard for that machine to be able to receave mail.

You have to configure DNS entries for your domain. Add MX record. MX record has to point to the box where you want all the email for your domain come to.

Did you put the hostnames that the box should receive mail to into the sendmail.cw file? And check the MX records too.
