Load average in squeeze too low

a little update, i have disabled tickless on squeeze and applied special patch, and it seems to fix the problem, however now just testing fresh install of ubuntu 11.10 server, and problem is back Smilie

on the left we have a quad core server with debian lenny, on the right sandy bridge quad core with 11.10 server, server on the right is getting 2x web traffic as server on the left

i have tried nohz=off highres=off and there is no difference, any other suggestions??

Same problem here on squeeze. Im using load balancing based on la, but I've got all zeroes, and balancing is failed

Hi to all, i have an app on solaris 5.8 writed in C++ (3.2.1) that use multi threading. Hardware has 8 cpu. we have an unix system which has load average normally about 20. but while i am running a particular unix batch which performs heavy operations on filesystem and database average load reduces to 15. how can we explain this situation? while running that batch idle cpu time is about %60-65...
