ssh connection error
I am trying to get my CVS client to connect to the repository over ssh. ssh works - I can quite happily log on but when I use the client - which incidentally is eclipse 2.1.3 on Windows using plink/puTTY as an external connection method - I get the following error in /var/log/secure:

error: channel 0: internal error: we do not read, but chan_read_failed for istate 8


I have trawled forums looking for answers - have found people posting exactly the same error message but never any answers - any ideas?

what version of putty are you using?

I suggest upgrading to the latest putty. they were known bugs in previous version

I'm on 0.54 - I'll upgrade to 0.55 and see what happens
