Scheduler: cron, available on any UNIX system by default (unless you explicitly removed it)

And what's your definition of "workload automation"? Shell scripts?

I'm talking about a centralized jobs scheduler and job automatization workflow like control-m, patrol and similars. I wanted to say workflow instead of workload Smilie

A few examples: Execute Job A,B and C, and only execute job D if job if job B fails. And for the other hand... take decisions like.... if load cpu is 99% assign one CPU more or if space available is 99% full, increase the size of lvol...

I found a couple of programs but I would like to know your experience if any with this king of programs.

Cluster resources :: Products - TORQUE Resource Manager
Quartz - Quartz 1 - Features

Thanks!
