Hi people, well first of all I have bean working studiously on trying to get my p/c to boot
>>>
and I have bean reading the help files ,thi is the "URL"http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.html#Role-of-a-boot-loader
but that does not seam to have helped me, to me this is fairly complex, but i love it none the less
some one was asking how I got the rescue mode in the command shell, this ISO disk that I down loaded
has it all on there en clouding the patches for true "RAID 0"but I don't know how to implement them as well as the arguments.,for installation
I also know that Debian Lenny was released last month or so, but I was hoping that perhaps I could download a new kernel and compile it and also install new packages and thus have a new o/s without having the tedium of downloading a complete ISO image.
I had found a Debian Live 500-i386 rescue ISO online but apparently the MD5 check sum failed according to some of the developers,so that was not much good to me but that will be fixed soon.
thank god I have this live drive "PURE DYNE" its awesome and all off the web.
