Question Local Printer Setup

Hi to all,

A real virgin to unix, so sorry for such a basic question.

Have a older unix terminal with crashed server. Software resides to terminal. Don't have network printing capabilities. I removed network printer and gone local, but don't know how to redirect the device for local printing.

Any suggestions on how to enter and edit printer definintion file and reset from network to local?

Thanks,
Rogie

There is probably a easy tool to use to do this but unless the OS is posted and version (if you know it) then I may be sending you down the wrong path.

Post your OS type and version, please.

On the command line, usually uname -a will give enough information to determine which Unix you've got.
