Hi all
just introduce my self I am mike.
I have just signed up to the forums as I like to learn new things even as a old guy lol. I have some questions and I was hoping you guys may be able to help me as I think I tried to run before I could walk
I bought a DVR of a guy on. he was selling a bunch of these and I realise it would be locked. now this particular DVR it seems that the manufacturer went bust or something as there website is blank and can get no info only the user manual which tells a lot about nothing lol.
what I need to do is extract the hardcoded password from the DVR to reset it
but after many days I have learned a bit but not enough to do this. I pinged the dvr then found open ports and was trying to telnet into it to go further but then hit the password wall. I have scanned the device and got some info. perhaps you guys would not mind taking a look for me and clue me up on what I have here and the best way to go about my objective
here is the log.
In ports/hosts I see
thanks all
Mike

So what prompts you to put this on a Unix/Linux forum?
You say the manufacturer's website is no longer there but you don't say who the manufacturer is. Who is it? What make/model is it?
Hi sorry if I have done this the wrong way
The reason I put here is the item I am trying to fix is a cctv dvr
Looking the firmware it is Unix but I don't know much about it. I am trying to extract the password from it
The Unix version and so forth is in the log in was hoping someone could tell me a bit about it and point me in the right direction. Ow the dvr is called cnm secure h264
Hi all,
Right now i am using Windows XP OS. I want to execute all the unix commands under this environment. Is there any software for executing unix commands in Windows.
