Mutt Configuration for Yahoo! (Working sol -)

First configure the directory as so--

mkdir -p ~/.mutt/cache/headers
mkdir ~/.mutt/cache/bodies
touch ~/.mutt/certificates

Then create the config file --

touch ~/.mutt/muttrc

Now, edit the file
sudo nano ~/.mutt/muttrc

set smtp_url = "smtp://"
set smtp_pass = "password"
set from = ""
set realname = "Your real name"
set folder = "imaps://"

set message_cachedir=~/.mutt/cache/bodies

# Some tweaks
set imap_keepalive = 300
set mail_check = 90
set timeout = 15
set charset = iso-8859-1

Unfortunately sending did not work with the above,
here are the changes you have to make


set smtp_url = "smtp://$imap_user:$"


set ssl_starttls = yes
