I need your help plase

IN Prudcution system Autosys 4.5 was used and the was a migration to release Autosys 11. but AFTER THE RELASE TO THE NEW VERSUON r11 i cann not longer connect to the event server, so when i connected to the previous SERVER in A 4.5 i was able to use autorep commads correctly, and now with the release, i connect to the same server to use autorep commands but yileds me an error:

Cannot connect to the Event Server after 3 attempts in autosys 11

i to asked the Systems Admins but there is no answer.
Is there anyway to know where - what can i get configuration to know what is the machine or ip adress for the Event Server?

what do you mean by "cannot longer connect to the event server"

how do you connect to autosys server ? ( using ssh ? )

Are you executing the commands in autosys server itself ?

in R11 autorep command will be there WorkloadAutomationAE folder. execute which autorep and see what you are getting ?

thats exactly i tried to find out why it yields me that error.

the scenario is this: In A 4.5 we logged via ssh ssh user@10.80.2.100 (that ip adress used to be the event server) then autosc & then i used to work with autorep commands correctly.
After the migration or release to A11 we connect via web http://10.80.136:8080
abd i tried to use the former ssh conection ssh user@10.80.2.100 and use the autorep commands, but it yields me that error. (its likely the 10.80.2.100 its not longer the evente server ?)
and the bottleline is that i dont know what is the underlying event server i conncet to in order to be able to use the autorep commands ?

are you able to successfully connect to autosys server using ssh ?

what is the error message you are getting ?

if R11 version is installed in a new server, then you to install your public keys into the new server. then only you can able to access the R11 server via ssh.

i connect ok using ssh to the former event server 10.80.2.100 but the problem is when i tried to use autorep commands yielded me that error:

i tried to connect ssh user@10.80.1.36 but it denies me the access because port 22 is not enable or sth like that. i guess that it's a kind of restriction to use ssh ?

now it comes up a new question:

when i connect via web http://10.80.136:8080 it means that ip adress is the new event R11 server ?

according what you mention above installing public keys into the new server to enable ssh to access R11 server, is the only way or is there another way? because i dont now much that and i have to ask the asdministrator

Not really. Also your ip address is the wrong one.

when you are accessing the autosys commands via GUI, it's not necessary to be have the autosys running in the same server. You need to check with your admin team for this.
