Question graphical remote connection to linux

is there any way to connect to linux server from windows machine in graphical mode like remote desktop in windows.

Ubuntu ships with something called LTSP http://www.ltsp.org/ and there are various X11 remote framebuffer implementations which try to compete with VNC. Whatever your pick, it's unlikely to be available as widely as the corresponding Windows technology. Meaning, if you're lucky, one of them is installed, but probably not the one you have.
