Can you migrate UFS to ZFS ?

I have some UFS volumes (non root), that I would like to change into ZFS volumes.

Is this possible ?

I think the only method is to create a new zfs volume and copy the data accoss, this would take a long time for us. Is there a quicker way ?

Regards

No, there is no conversion. Your existing idea is the only way to do this.

FYI
UFS-> ZFS is on the Roadmap & You can now create root ZFS with S10U8

No it isn't. Migrating from root on UFS to root on ZFS is but conversion of existing filesystems is not.

Can you post a link to that blog ?
I suspect you misunderstood its content. That would be a quite complicated process to implement with little value.
A UFS file system is located on a slice while a ZFS file system is located on a ZFS pool. The same storage area can hardly be both at the same time.
