gss and keyserv services is down.

Hi All,

My solaris 10 services is down, I check n found out the svc:/network/rpc/gss is uninitialized and the last dependency is svc:/network/rpc/keyserv is in maintenance mode, I use svcadm clear command but still unable to clear it. What is the services function for? Will the hardening affect to this services?

Please advice.

Thanks

Unless you are expecting this host to be a kerberos server/client then this service will not start until you have the proper config files in place ... Are you ?
