istall sas raid HBA internal card
I need to install a raid HBA internal card on a T5240. The reason is I have
more drives and the current mother board controller does not support more
than 4 drives.

My question is I have raidctl set up on current drives. If I install new HBA
card do I have to delete current raidctl and make a new raidctl for new
HBA or will new HBA work with current raidctl?

Pretty sure you'll have to recreate it, since it's a different controller.

Uses arcconf and new solaris 10 10/08 supports device.

I am trying to find documents and examples of arcconf.

Does anyone know the command to set up RAID6 and
one spare with arcconf and 6 disks (0 0, 0 1, 0 4, 0 5, 0 6, and 0 7) ?
