SunOS 5.7 Lib failure

Good day all;

I have an issue with an older Sun OS 5.7 System. The system is an older inspection device. During boot the system can not find ld.so.1 file that is to be located in /usr/lib/ . When I go to look in the directory there is no working commands to do an "ls" or any other command than "cd". I think I have lost several files from this directory. I may not have any option but to reload the OS.

Thanks;

klamonte
