Computer installing second harddrive

This is my first post i am a solaris newbie. I just purchased my first sun system. It is a sunblade 1000. It had a fcal 36gb hdd in it already so i purchased a secondary 36gb fcal harddrive to increase my harddrive space however, how do i get it to detect the second harddrive? I have tried boot -r and running the format command to see if it detects it. Is their something i am missing possible? Thanks any help would be very appreciated.

"boot -r" should have done the trick. if you can't see the drive in "format" go to the obp level "init 0" and do that:

Code:
ok setenv auto-boot? false
ok reset-all

ater the reset do a:

Code:
ok probe-scsi-all

and post the output of the last command...
