Solaris

Hello!
I applied the solaris9 "recomended and sequrity"-bundle Oktober release last night, and after that the system will not boot.

I missed to reboot the system using "reboot -r", but I am able to mount the root disk by booting from cdrom "cdrom -s".

Please advise!

what happens if you do a "boot -rv" from obp?

I did a "boot -r" (not verbose) earlier today, it didn't help

looks like your "/etc/path_to_inst" is out of date... try a (i think it was -arv):

ok boot -arv

to generate a new file... guys, please correct if i'm wrong with the "-arv" option... maybe you should do a backup of your old path_to_inst file before doing the above procedure! boot with cd/dvd, mount your fs and do a "mv /etc/path_to_inst /etc/path_to_inst.old".
