Solaris

You can download CD images of solaris 10 from www.sun.com. This is a set of about 5 CD-ROMs. If your machine can't boot from a DVD perhaps it can boot from a Solaris installation CD-ROM.

While we are at it, I presume you have pre-partitioned your disks so you have a partition free to install Solaris and Grub?

I Was installed Solaris 10 in my Laptop,
I just download CD Image file and burn it to CD.
When try to installed my Laptop automatic detect my 1st Solaris CD and booting from the CD.
Are you create DVD from ISO file or that original DVD from SUN Solaris?
If you using ISO and burn it , are you burning DVD in ISO mode?

what cd your guys talkin about i did not find cd image anywhere maybe i am looking at different place ...help....

well, i try to boot from the sun.com solaris 10 dvd on Sparc but did not get any response guys. Even i turn it off and let it boot itself and it did not boot the dvd from sun. I dont know what do do and go from there....help appreciate....i alll beginner on this please be patience with me thanks alot team.....many great guys and gals from this forum.....

What do you not understand about going to www.sun.com and searching for download solaris?
