fsck run

Hi,

Can anybody tell me that is it the command "fsck" can be run by the root account only?

Thanks.

Yes. Only root can run fsck. Also, running fsck on a mounted filesystem is not recommended and to unmount a filesystem, you would need to be root anyway.
