what i want is learn solaris 10 by self study so i will ask very much
and now i am studying the devices part in the solaris book and i can't use and understand devfsadm command and format command

and i cant specify the partitions so that mount it such as the cdrom and the floppy and the other partitons on the senond hard disk

have a look at System Administration Guide: Devices and File Systems on docs.sun.com. you could find nearly everything about solaris on that side.
