Help setting up a bhyve branded zone

So I started with following the example on the omnios page for bhyve (sorry, I can't provide the link because I'm a post shy of the 5 to give a URL):

And found that in the end I was able to create a running bhyve zone, but accessing it via zlogin results in a blank console. I've tried Debian 9 and Ubuntu 18.04 so far. I've had both these OSes work successfully on FreeBSD 11.1 and 11.2 with bhyve so it should be possible here.

OS version - omnios-r151028-d3d0427bff

Configs:

Hi,

Did you have any output at all when you ran zlogin -C zonename or was it still just a blank screen?

Can you post the output of;

Code:
zoneadm list -cv

Code:
zoneadm list -p

Regards

Here is my output:

Code:
~ » pfexec zoneadm list -cv stratacast@omni

Code:

And
Code:
zlogin -c ubuntu1804

does in fact give just a blank screen. I've also tried with Debian 9.

Thanks

It is capital 'C' in zlogin.
zlogin -C <zone>

Does that give you blank screen as well ?

Peasant.

That was a typo, my bad. I used capital C which resulted in a blank screen

You might try:
Code:
 vmadm console

vmadm doesn't seem to exist on OmniOS, I can't find it in the repos either
