When I run the above script, I get the following error:

./new.ksh: ]: not found.

below error occurs while running the script

I have a sh script which contains the following line
TOTAL=$((e4-s4)) -> Where e4 and s4 are input got from the user.
At the time of execution of this line the following error occurs
test.sh: syntax error at line 8: `TOTAL=$' unexpected

Hi,
I have a script which will check the fiel existence, the lines are as below
if !(test -d ./data) then
mkdir data
fi
In the first line error occurs as below
generatelicense.sh: syntax error at line 2: `!' unexpected
Where as this script works fine in linux OS.
