Hi all,

I am attempting to create a BART manifest on a Solaris 10 box; however, I need it to be hashed with SHA256. Normally, at the beginning of a "bart create" command, the version and date appear along with the type of encryption listed. When I run the command though I receive the following output:

My question is, is there any way to enable SHA256? The Oracle documentation on BART does not reveal anything as far as I can tell.

I don't think bart allows selecting the hash algorithm on Solaris 10. That's a Solaris 11 feature.

I don't think so either. Is there anyway to upgrade the version I am using?

Nevermind, I see what you are saying. I've checked and it does appear like Solaris 10 does not use cryptographic hashing.
