Solaris 8 - FTP server -enable

I have turn off the FTP service and rebooted the server .
(edit /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/inet/services)

Now , how can I enable back the FTP without rebooting the server .

You can turn on or off the ftp service by either commenting the line or un-commenting the line in /etc/inetd.conf and sending the inetd process a HUP signal. You also probably didn't need to touch the /etc/services file. See the man page for inetd.
