T5120 2g ram

Anyone run into an issue where a new Solaris 11.1 install on a t5120 will only have access to 2g ram? The system has 16g installed and fmadm isn't reporting any problems. Here's some output that may help.

Oh, and this is a brand new operating system install, there's no zones, ldoms, rcap or the like... Just an out of the box install. This hardware used to have a ldom config on it, but that's been quite a while ago. On a 5120 there's no way for the SP to limit OS access to resources, is there? Or, is there an easy procedure to ensure there's no resource limiting in place?

Maybe you have LDOMs configured? Edit: I just read that the system had LDOMs configured. What does this say:
Code:
ldm ls-config
ldm ls

Nah, it's a clean install man... wiped the drives and everything.

Code:
ldm: not found

Install the ldm tools and check the asked command.

D'oh! Thanks....
Code:
ldm ls
NAME STATE FLAGS CONS VCPU MEMORY UTIL UPTIME
primary active -n-cv- SP 8 2G 0.2% 6m

Code:
ldm list
NAME STATE FLAGS CONS VCPU MEMORY UTIL UPTIME
primary active -n-cv- SP 8 2G 22% 5m
dtrapani@atlopscenter:~$ ldm ls-config
factory-default
ldom_jet
xvmconfig [next poweron]

So, I really just need a simple, bare metal OS install. No ldoms needed.

Just a quick note, I successfully ran the following command
Code:
ldm add-memory 15g primary

ldm list output now shows 15g ram available to the primary. I'd still like to revert to a simple install. Did I use the wrong installation media?

You don't need to revert anything.

Just allocate everything to domain primary (i recommend start-reconf, add all mem and cpu to primary and reboot).

Then use your operating system as you see fit.

Ok, thanks.

It's obvious to me this system was previously configured as a ldom server. If I want to wipe out 100% of the previous config and start from scratch, what do I need to do?
