Emcpower0a device/lun is not visible in non global zone
Hi All
Please find my zone configuration after add emcpower0a device
Code:
zonecfg -z zone1 export
create -b
set zonepath=/zone/zone1
set autoboot=true
set ip-type=shared
add net
set address=192.168.1.11/24
set physical=nxge2
set defrouter=192.168.1.1
end
add device
set match=/dev/rdsk/emcpower0a

set match=/dev/dsk/emcpower0a

Now in zone1, I could not able to see emcpower0a LUN in following directory
Code:
/dev/dsk
/dev/rdsk
I have even rebooted my zone also
I need to see this LUN (emcpower0a) so that it will automatically mount when the zone1 boot.
It's been a little while since I've done this, but as I recall, there's some steps you've missed. You need to set a special parameter, and specify some details about the FS. I'm not 100% since I'm not on my work laptop, but I think the following is what you need to do.

After creating a NGZ (non global zone), the NGZ can access the GZ (Global Zone) and the GZ can access the NGZ (using ssh, zlogin)
However, the NGZ cannot access any other netwqork devices, it can't even see the default router

If I change date and time in global zone, then it will affect in non global zones.
During this process what files will get affect in non global zones and which mechanism it's using to change.

In my globalzone , assuming i have 4 cpus (psrinfo -pv = 0-3), if i set dedicated-cpu (ncpus=2) for my local zone

On the execution of the installion of the script it quits by saying the error
"Non global zone check failed"
