Hello all, I wanted to know how can i enable the up arrow key to go to last cmd....on any UNIX system....looks like in some of my system(linux mostly) the up arrow key work to go to last cmd....but on hp-ux or sun...the up arrow key dose not work....is there some setting i can enable at terminal... Hi,
I want to use the TAB key to list directory (or go to directory or file).
For example,
dir1/dir2/file1
now if i do
$ cd /d and hit TAB it should go to 'dir1'.

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to enable/disable a cron job within a script?
I currently have a cron job which runs every minute but now it seems that sometimes I would like to turn this job off if a condition is met. I would then like to re-enable the job at a later date.

We use TAB to Auto-Fill the file/directory names starting with that alphabet(s). My TAB Auto-Fills when there is no other file/directory starting with that alphabet(s). My issue is, when there is more than one match, hitting TAB "twice", does not list file/directory names... (0 Replies)
