Disable SNMP v1/2 authentification and use SNMPv3 authentification
Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me to disable SNMP v1/2 authentification on Solaris 10 and use SNMP v3 authentification ?

I have SNMPv3 installed on my Solaris but the tool we use to scan vulnerabilities still show that there is a problem whith authentification version.

Does it mean that even if we have SNMPv3 we are using SNMPv1/2 authentification ?

SNMPv3 Authentication Bypass Vulnerability in snmpd(1M) describes the version you need, and some tools say they may be over-detecting, if I read this right: Solaris 10 Net-SNMP Finding - Vulnerability Audits - eEye Support Forums
